Ronnie Liang grateful for blessings in 2019; celebrates birthday with cancer-stricken kids

Malaki na ang pagbabago sa buhay ng singer-actor at ngayo’y piloto na si Ronnie Liang simula noong una siyang makita sa telebisyon via the reality-singing show na Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA).

Hindi rin niya inaasahan lahat ng magagandang nangyari sa mga nakalipas na taon dahil ang gusto lang naman n’ya ay makatulong sa kanyang pamilya.

“When I do things, I do it with love and dedication. Hindi ko iniisip iyung magiging resulta, ang mahalaga naibigay mo iyung best mo.

“Kaya as I go back, super blessed ko noong 2019. Kapag ganyang maraming blessings, dapat lang naman na i-share natin ang blessings natin,” panimulang kuwento ni Ronnie sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kahapon, January 31, sa pamamagitan ng email messaging.

COUNTING HIS BLESSINGS LAST 2019

Umaapaw ang blessings ng singer-actor noong 2019. Nakapag-release siya ng album under Viva Records bilang selebrasyon ng kanyang ika-12 na taon sa industriya. Nag number one sa mga FM stations ang kanta niyang “Ligaya.” Kasama siya sa ibang Viva movies. Patuoy siyang pinagkakatiwalaan ng Viva management.

Nakatanggap din si Ronnie ng dalawang nominasyon mula sa PMPC Star Awards for Music para sa kantang “Ligaya”—Male Recording Artist of the Year at Revival Recording of the Year.

Masasabing pinakamalaking blessing niya noong 2019 ay ang kanyang major concert sa Music Museum with Sarah Geronimo as special guest. Pangarap ng Pop Balladeer na maging guest ang Pop Star Royalty sa kanyang concert. Pero ilang beses na rin siyang nakakasama ni Sarah sa ibang shows nila. Nasundan pa ito ng collab song nila titled “Liwanag” na mapapakinggan pa rin sa Spotify at ibang FM stations.

At ang isa pang malaking blessing ay natapos niya ang pagpipiloto (solo and private) sa APG International Aviation Academy. Nakadalo ang PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa pinning ceremony ng singer-pilot sa Subic.

Pagpapasalamat niya, “Super grateful ako sa lahat ng blessings ko noong 2019.

“The moment na nag-yes si Sarah G to be my guest, sobrang saya ko noon. Since PDA, siya na talaga ang dream artist ko na maka-collab.

“Kapag nga naiisip ko minsan how lucky and blessed I am, hindi ko maiwasan na maging teary-eyed. Twelve years na ako sa industriya at masaya naman sa kung nasaan ako ngayon. Super supportive sa akin ng Viva, sila Boss Vic.”

SOARING TO HIGHER HEIGHTS

Kasalukuyang kina-career na ni Ronnie ang pagiging commercial pilot na si Ronnie. Proud siya dahil nabalanse niya ang kanyang oras.

Pagbabalik-tanaw niya, “Last year, nagkaroon ng pinning ceremony bilang ganap na piloto. Tuwing nagpapalipad ako, I always pray. Dream come true rin ang pagpipiloto kasi bata pa lang ako, pangarap ko na maging isang piloto. Sabi ko nga sa mga nangangarap, fly high!”

Maraming humanga na mga taga-industriya sa ginawang pagpupursigi ng singer na matupad ang kanyang pangarap na maging isang piloto.

Dagdag ni Ronnie, “Grabe, nagulat ako, ang daming nagme-message nun sa akin.

“Ang daming media outlets na nag-pickup nung pinning ceremony ko sa Subic as pilot.

“Iyung suporta ng mga tao, nakaka-touch. My Viva management din showed support.”

Kaya maraming dapat ipagpasalamat ang handsome pilot.

ANNUAL BIRTHDAY CHARITY VOW

Kahapon, January 31, ay nag-celebrate si Ronnie ng kanyang birthday sa Philippine Children’s Medical Center kasama ang mga batang may cancer.

Twelve years na niyang ginagawa ang pagtulong sa mga batang may kanser tuwing birthday niya.

Masaya niyang lahad, “Masarap sa pakiramdam na nakakatulong kahit sa maliit na paraan. May sense of fulfillment talaga.

“Tuwing birthday ko, dun talaga ako nagse-celebrate with them.

“Makikita mo sa mga mata nila kung gaano sila kasaya every time na may bumibisita sa kanila. I hope we all find time to help.”

Tuluy-tuloy naman ang paggawa niya ng musika ngayong 2020. Ang collab song nila ni Sarah Geronimo na “Liwanag” ay available pa rin sa Spotify. Kasama rin si Ronnie sa isang upcoming movie. Recently ay pumunta rin siya sa Batangas para tumulong sa Taal volcano victims.

“My hope ngayong 2020 ay marami pang ma-inspire na mga kabataan sa music ko. Sana rin ay makabangon na ang Batangas, at maging maayos na ang lahat,” pahabol niya.

There are a lot of love songs played in the radio for over the years, a lot of different renditions, and different quality of voices however, Ronnie Liang’s latest album- 12 gave us a glimpse of what it is to be in love again.

The Filipino singer and performer, Pinoy Dream Academy 2nd Runner-up, Ronnie Liang released his latest album- 12 under Viva Records in celebration to his 12th year in the industry. Just like his other 4 albums that has been released, he never fails to serenade us with what’s on his heart and he never fails to showcase how incredibly talented he is. It is a no brainer how he stayed in the industry this long and still amazes us with every song he sings. Remember how his song ‘Ngiti’ made a huge a hit when he first released it then followed by ‘Akala Mo’ and among other hit songs.

The beauty of his 5th album is that it features how wonderful it is be in love even though there are times that it is unrequited. Love might be the most complicated thing in the world but it is also the best thing that will happen to every one of us.
